WHAT CAN I EXPECT FOR MY FIRST SESSION?
Beginning therapy can feel like a daunting process, so hopefully knowing what to expect for your first session can put your mind a little at ease.
Your first session will be us getting to "meet" each other virtually. We will discuss the counselling process, including reviewing informed consent, your rights and responsibilities as a client, your goals for therapy, and what has brought you into counselling. It also gives us a chance to begin to explore your story.
I invite you to ask questions or address any concerns you might have about the process at any point in our work together too - I want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
