HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO ATTEND THERAPY?

There is no magic number when it comes to therapy session amount/frequency- it is whatever works for you, your schedule (and your budget!).

 

However, the bottom line is that you will get out of therapy what you put into it, so it's important to think about a frequency that feels right for you and makes it worth your while.

 

Some people like to attend therapy on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to maintain consistency and to help develop a therapeutic relationship with their counsellor - others may attend sessions on an as-needed basis.
