COVID-19 Protocols for In-Person Sessions
Jess McMahon Counselling & Consulting has taken steps to try to reduce the possibility of COVID-19 transmission within the office. These steps include:
Practicing physical distancing
Requesting that clients arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before their scheduled session
Disinfecting high touch areas
Providing clients with hand sanitizer
Providing clients with a mask to wear during sessions if desired
Asking clients if they would prefer that their counsellor wear a mask during sessions
Requiring clients to change appointments to a phone or video session, or reschedule if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
Utilizing contactless payment
Requesting that all clients complete a COVID-19 Screening Assessment at least two hours before each in-person session
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please email your counsellor at email@example.com to request that your appointment be changed from an in person session to a video or phone session. When in doubt, please stay home and take advantage of video or phone sessions so we can keep vulnerable members of our community safe.
If I am experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms I will notify you as soon as possible to change or reschedule your appointment.
Changing from in-person to phone or video sessions may prove to be common throughout the cold and flu season. I appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through these unprecedented times.
